About Me
My name is Jessica and I am the founder of Footprintz Apothecary. Footprintz originated from a poem I read called “Footprints in the Sand” by Margaret Fishback Powers.

One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, you would leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testing’s.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
As a single mother of 3 beautiful children and have been in the E-Commerce and marketing business for many years working from home. My mind was always working and coming up with ideas. This time when started to think about what my purpose in life is, what did our Divine Creator put me on this earth to do, and what I wanted for my life, and my children. I knew that I wanted to build a strong foundation and leave for them a legacy, something that they could pass on to their children. I thought back on the teachings of everyone in my life that helped mold me into to woman and mother I am today and the name “Footprintz” came to mind. Just like the poem, I realized that each and every person we cross paths with in life are on their path to finding their purpose. While in pursuit of finding our way we meet people or go through cycles, changes, and situations that are there to guide us. Some cycles also repeat themselves repeatedly until we learn the lesson. And each time someone crosses our path in that life phase a footprint is left. Sometimes as simply a reminder when we need it and sometimes it is there to provide guidance, advice, or help for other people on this earth that we will encounter. I started to think of the many people some I remember and some not whom I crossed paths with in my life phase and realized that many had left footprints, sometimes in the form of lessons, examples, or just the words and actions they did during that time. If it wasn’t for us crossing paths during those times in my life I would not be where I am now. They left “Footprintz” As a started to walk in that purpose I realized that one of my gifts was the ability help to others on their paths. Leave my own set of ‘’Footprintz” With that I brought to fruition Footprintz Apothecary. A store for all things Spiritual, Herbs, Crystals, Cleansing, and other metaphysical products at affordable prices for all your spiritual and holistic needs. My Prayer/Intention for this store is for it to provide every person that visits and shops positive light, vibes, and the tools to stay in alignment with their highest and greats good only!
